Premonition - This 2007 movie features actress Sandra Bullock in the role of Linda. Linda has the perfect life in a beautiful home with her husband Jim and two young daughters. Everything is great until she finds out the news of her husband's death in a car accident. She wakes up the next morning to find him alive and assumes she just had a nightmare.

As the movie continues, Linda's world spirals into two different days: one where her husband is alive and one where he is dead. She realizes his death was not a dream. This begins a race against time to try and keep the perfect life she had with her husband and two daughters.

Raise Your Voice - This 2004 movie features Hilary Duff in the role of Terri. Terri and her brother are best friends. When going they go to a concert together in his new car, they are t-boned by a semi, leaving Terri in bad condition and her brother dead.

Terri's ambitions as a singer included applying to the most prestigious music summer program in Los Angeles. Her parents did not condone her dreams, but her brother secretly taped her singing throughout their life.


It turns out Terri's brother sent in the tapes to the music program. She learns of her acceptance, and the videos, just months after his death. In honor of her brother, she travels to Los Angeles where she works her hardest to make every dream come true.

Signs - This 2002 movie features Mel Gibson in the role of Rev. Graham Hess. This movie is based on a family that finds crop circles on their farm. After plenty of scares and awkward events aliens appear and threaten Rev. Hess and his family.

Rev. Hess recalls the terrible car accident where his wife was killed and he lost his faith. While dying, she cryptically told the Rev. certain things which help the family fight off the aliens.

Blow Out - This 1981 movie features John Travolta in the role of Jack Terry. Jack is a B-movie sound man who, while recording stocks sounds one night, captures a fatal car accident on tape. Jack begins to suspect the car wreck was no accident.

It turns out the "accident" was a murder and the people responsible want Jack's evidence of the crime. Jack must use his knowledge of sound recording to piece together what actually happened and show the authorities the truth of the cover up.


Class Action - This 1991 movie features Gene Hackman in the role of Jedediah Ward. Jed is an old school crusader plaintiff's attorney who finds himself up against his daughter in the courtroom in a class action suit against a car company accused of misleading the public as to the potential dangers of a design flaw leading to multiple car crashes.

Jed daughter Maggie (played by Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio) works for the firm defending the car company. Father and daughter clash as the case seems to be all but won by the car company until the daughter learns of the cover up and provides the evidence to her father. In the end, Maggie loses her job, but reunites with her father.
